Seats at the Table – Lessons on building sustainably and inclusively

30 June 2023

18:00 -20:30

Seats at the Table explores the intersection between sustainability, accessibility and participation through a table as a place for bringing people together, sharing, making, learning, nourishment and socialising. Over the first 6 months of 2023, Re-Fabricate, the DisOrdinary Architecture Project and a series have been working with diverse schools across east London to co-design 6 chairs that cater for different accessibility requirements and enable equal places at the table.

Join us for our final event at Postman’s Park: Lessons on Building sustainably and inclusively, a dinner event where we’ll be discussing the opportunities and challenges of co-design, the realities of delivering circular construction and how we can maximise the practice of both of these in the future.

Come dine and discuss with us!
Delicious vegan food and drinks will be served!

Please bring some containers, cutlery and a glass.

‘Seats at the Table’ is the winner of ‘Co-designing Equity in the Public Realm’, an initiative delivered by London Festival of Architecture (LFA), co-funded by the Foundation for Future London and the City of London Corporation.

This is a LFA installation in partnership with City of London Corporation and Foundation for Future London
