Studio Late at the Zaha Hadid Foundation Exhibition

16 June 2023

18:00 -20:00

A chance to view the Zaha Hadid Foundation exhibition, 'Zaha’s Moonsoon: An Interior in Japan', after hours, as part of the London Festival of Architecture's Studio Late programme in Clerkenwell. This exhibition explores the design story of the Moonsoon bar and restaurant (1989-90), Zaha Hadid’s first completed project outside of the UK, and an interior created in a period when foreign influences, especially from the West, were embraced in Japan. Drawing on the rich archival material from ZHF, the exhibition offers a rare insight into the conception of a key early project by Hadid, from its initial brief to its final built form and highlights the collaborative nature of architectural projects through the designers and artists who worked alongside Hadid in this interior.
