Over the years, London Festival of Architecture has produced a variety of tools and merchandise for our event organisers and key partners to help support and promote the work of the Festival.
For LFA2023, we’re excited to announce that we’re holding a design competition, encouraging architects, artists, or those with a keen interest in architecture to submit a unique design to take centre stage on our official LFA2023 tote bags!
This is the first time that we’ve opened this opportunity up to our LFA community. It is part of our ‘open call’ model, aiming to democratise the discussion around architecture in London, meaning that anyone with a passion for architecture and the built environment can be involved.
Among the proposals, we’ll be looking for a graphic or illustration which responds to the LFA2023 theme of ‘In Common’. This theme encourages us to reflect on what we share (such as natural resources, physical ‘commons’, public spaces and stories). While also thinking about things we don’t have in common to ensure different lived experiences are considered when thinking about our city’s future.
The deadline for submissions is noon on 6 March.
The winner will be revealed on 10th April and awarded £500 (+ VAT) for their design. The chosen design displayed on LFA tote bags and other key merchandise to promote #LFA2023. Good luck!
