Join us on the 15th of June from 5pm, for an evening of interesting discussions as our panel debate talk about all things EDI in architecture and the built environment, followed by live music from local Southwark band, The Grove, as well as drinks and nibbles till 8pm.
We have more in common than we have differences. We all want a safe and secure home, we all want to be respected and to be treated fairly in all environments, we all want to walk home and feel safe, and we all want to be seen and heard.
We will explore how we in the built environment, can better meet our common needs whilst also allowing our differences to be acknowledged and catered for.
Our event will focus on five main themes:
Delivering amazing affordable homes.
Support for diversity in our industry.
Safety in public spaces for women and Girls.
Being heard – the new voices in architecture.
All our panel are leading the changes to housing, design, architecture, construction, and the way our industry engages with society to bring about the common things we all want.
Our panel discussion will be hosted by Claire Bennie, founder of the Architect Directory and our speakers include Co-Founder of Make Space For Girls, Imogen Clark; Director of Impact and Engagement at 10,000 Interns Foundation Nana Campbell; Diane Lightfoot CEO of the Business Disability Forum; Dipa Joshi Partner at Fletcher Priest Architects, Robbie Turner, Director of Inclusion and Diversity at RIBA and Dave Hughes, Design Director at Fuse Architects.
