Join the architects McCloy + Muchemwa at the Urban Playground for sketching, models and to hear more about how they designed this playful installation, then take a tour around the Eastern Cluster of the City with a Blue Badge guide. Beginning from the Urban Playground, this family-friendly tour will take you around some of the rich cultural and historical highlights of this unique part of London including the Monument to the fire of London, Leadenhall Market, St Michael’s Church and the Bank of England.
'Urban Playground’ by McCloy + Muchemwa is a non-traditional play area bringing an element of unexpected fun into Fen Court. Inspired by wooden children’s toys, each pieces of the playground is a unique shape which creates the opportunity for seating, play or wonder in the heart of the City.
