Mosaics and the Circular Economy

09 June 2023

17:30 -21:00

Artisanal craft techniques are commonly shared across all cultures. During the LFA23, we want to explore - through craft - how we move away from a 'throw away’ culture.

Join us for a Friday evening ‘Studio Late’ for a very special mosaic workshop, led by master mosaicist Giulia Manzoni. The workshop will use circular economy principles to create mini works of art. Supported by UK manufacturer Johnson Tiles, the mosaic pieces are from discontinued lines, broken or surplus, forming part of the circular economy.

As well as creating a beautiful mini work of art, we will discuss the role architecture and design plays in the circular economy.

Tickets for the evening cost £5, will all proceeds donated to tp bennett’s community partner- Change Please, who support people experiencing homelessness.

We understand the impact the cost of living crisis is having and can offer complimentary places as required. Please contact us directly.
