Pocket Park Showcase: Community Co-Design

The Central District Alliance (CDA) have been working with Islington Council Green Infrastructure and Highways teams to explore the potential for new green spaces in Clerkenwell. This reflects Islington's commitment to increasing green space in the borough, as well as CDA's commitment to supporting greener and more sociable shared spaces for everyone. We together identified that Robert's Place might have the potential to become a temporary new green space. Working with delivery partners YesMake, and in deep collaboration with local residents and businesses, the creation of this emerging green space is proof of concept - demonstrating what the co-design of our shared spaces can look like. A brief talk will be given about the design process; following which it will be activated for public enjoyment.
