MY LOCAL PARK: What does your local park mean for you?

01 June - 30 June

08:00 -19:00

Over the past few years, we have become increasingly aware of the importance of our local parks to our everyday lives. Our parks are spaces that are very important free public spaces in common for the people to gather, socialise and experience together.

At this year's festival, we set up an exhibition to understand "What our local parks really mean to us".
Exhibition is visible to the public at Highbury Fields near the Highbury Crescent. It includes stories from locals about their relationship with their local parks in the question "What does your local park mean for you in your life?"

The exhibition is presenting some of the selected responses. We also will be looking to collect your stories with a QR code in the exhibition for whom to share their story about what really means their local parks for you.

These stories will be shared with the Local Councils after the festival ends. So keep your eyes up at Highbury Fields Park to see the exhibition.
