In Common with Nature: what, where, how, why?

16 June 2023

17:00 -18:30

Tonkin Liu studio invites you to bring a specimen from nature to share, talk and speculate about, draw, model, abstract. It can be a fruit, a twig, a seed.

Limited to a group of 20, together we will ask a series of questions and interrogate the natural specimens. We will explore what factors have shaped their colours, forms, sizes, and journeys. What environment, temperature, humidity, light level or geology?

The What, Where, How, Why session will consist of:
- Show-and-tell, collective questioning and imagining
- Recording findings and examining closer through further investigation
- Drawing and modelling to explore principles discovered and discussed
