Craftspace's ‘We are Commoners’ exhibition comes to the City of London for LFA 2023. Velorose's 'Commoners in Common' showcases an edit of the original touring exhibition, with a focus on 'Mapping your Commons', as devised by artist Deirdre Nelson. Her work will sit alongside that of Justine Boussard & Alice McLean, Ele Carpenter, Alinah Azadeh, Oriel Davies Gallery / ODG Assembly, and Kate Hodgson / Heart of Glass
The exhibition edit encourages interaction inside and outside the gallery, and will expand throughout June as Velorose's latest Mail Art / Mapping project (listed separately) evolves. Craftspace merchandise will be available for purchase, as well as free resources and a full video representation of the complete 'We are Commoners' exhibition, which toured Newtown, Leicester, Bovey Tracey, Barnsley, Sleaford, Hull and Colchester in 2022
